200 year old saw carried by the LeBlanc Family to Bouctouche to rebuild their homes and lives.








Wooden Shoes Worn
By The Acadians Preserved Among
the Artifacts at Fort Beauséjour












This over 200 year old cradle was made by Charles LeBlanc in 1787.
Charles was the first settler of Bouctouche.Used for 4 genera-
tions in addition to his children, his daughter Clotilde used
the cradle for her children as did his son, his grandson and
his great grandson. This cradle was used for a total of 46
children and is on display at the Convent Museum.
